(FEB. 2009) SKELLEFTEBRÄNSLEN HAS PURCHASED the planning system Transvision Oil Planner plus its build-in mobile application. The purpose is to optimise and real-time manage the distribution of fuels in the North Western parts of Sweden.
Skelleftebränslen is supplying fuel in many different forms, including bio-fuel, gas, chemicals, petrol and diesel to industries, gasoline stations and private customers. The company is headquartered in Skellefteå, Sweden, it owns 30 service stations, and operates the distribution on 16 trucks.
Skelleftebränslen chose to implement Transvision Oil Planner thanks to its mature functionality for oil transport, its advanced real-time functionality and its ability to incorporate the mobile module in the solution enabling seamless information exchange with the mobile clients in the vehicles.
